Terms of Service

These terms cover the 00Food website and hosted sync and agent integration service at api.00food.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

The app

The iPhone app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a different license is presented with the app. The source code is available separately under the MIT license; the 00Food name and visual assets are covered by a separate brand license. These terms cover the website and the hosted service used with the app.

Not medical advice

00Food shows rough estimates to support reflection. Calorie figures, agent estimates and reviews, daily balances, and progress illustrations are approximate and are not clinical predictions or medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making health decisions, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating.

Your agent

00Food does not include an AI agent. Estimates and reviews come from the agent you connect, which may be wrong, and its availability depends on your AI provider. You are responsible for reviewing each estimate before saving or logging it.

Your account and content

You are responsible for the information you add and the agents you authorize to access it. Keep your account and connected services secure. You retain your rights to your food logs, photos, and other content, and allow us to process and store them only as needed to provide the service.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, interfere with its operation, bypass security controls, or access another person’s account or data without permission. Do not upload photos that contain other people’s private information or anything you would not want a connected agent to see.

Availability

The service may change or be interrupted, and sync or agent responses may be delayed. Keep your own copy of information you cannot afford to lose. The service is not designed for emergency or safety-critical use.

Other services

00Food relies on Apple and Cloudflare and connects to agents you choose. Their separate terms and policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for an agent provider’s handling of information after you authorize its access.

Ending use

You can stop using 00Food and delete your account in the app. We may restrict access if use violates these terms or threatens the service or other users.

Liability and your rights

To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” without a promise of uninterrupted availability or accurate estimates. These terms do not limit consumer rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
